Saturday, April 14 - Opening for the 2012 season - welcome back!
Saturday, April 21-Sunday, April 22 — Marsh Haven Celebrates Earth Day

May 2012
Thursday, May 11-Monday, May 13 — Horicon Marsh Bird Festival - The 15th annual Horicon Marsh Bird Festival offers a full four days of events for beginner and advanced birders who come from all over the country for this event. Marsh Haven Nature Center will be host for Barbara Harvey's Birds of Prey presentations both Saturday & Sunday at 1 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. Bill Amidon of Into the Woods Woodcraft will be displaying his beautiful selection of cedar bird houses and bird feeders on Saturday & Sunday An experienced wood worker from Campbellsport, Mr. Amidon will feature his finely crafted bluebird, wren and bat houses He will also display his suet, oriole and tray feeders.

Saturday, May 12 and/or Sunday, May 13 - BIRDcamp at Marsh Haven - A unique environmental, bird-themed daycamp for children ages 7-12 that strives to foster a love and respect for the earth that lasts a lifetime. BIRDcamp offers science, games, art, drama and music all with a bird-themed focus. This curriculum is designed to inspire care and concern for the earth, in addition to helping campers learn more about our feathered friends. BIRDcamp is presented in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. Sign up for one day or both-$15 for one day or $25 for both days - different activities will be held each day. Family Nature Club Meeting 1-3 p.m.

June 2012
Monday, June 4-Friday, June 8 - June EARTHcamp at Marsh Haven. The theme for this five-day daycamp program is "Diggin' in the Dirt," with a focus on seed collection and selection, container gardening, the growing process, where our food comes from, what lives in the soil, and preserving food. EARTHcamps run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and are designed for campers age 7-12. Registration form HERE.

Friday, June 15-Sunday, June 17 - Marsh Haven Nature Center at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair. Stop by the Marsh Haven exhibitor booth at the 23rd annual Energy Fair in Custer, Wis. The Energy Fair features over 275 exhibits, over 200 workshops, Clean Energy Car Show, Green Home Pavilion, Green Building Demos, Sustainable Tables and keynotes, entertainment and great local food! Saturday, June 30 - Family Nature Club Meeting 1-3 p.m.

July 2012
Monday, July 16-Friday, July 20 - July EARTHcamp at Marsh Haven. The theme for this five day daycamp program is "Living Lightly on the Land," with a focus on Native American traditions. We will be building a wigwam, learning how to weave cattail mats, be visited by a storyteller, cordage making, and other skills. EARTHcamps run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and are designed for campers age 7-12. Registration form HERE.

Saturday, July 28 - Family Nature Club Meeting 1-3 p.m.

August 2012
Monday, August 6-Friday, August 10 - August EARTHcamp at Marsh Haven. The theme for this five day daycamp program is "Big Blue Planet."  EARTHcamps run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and are designed for campers age 7-12. Registration form HERE.

Saturday, August 25 - Family Nature Club Meeting 1-3 p.m.

September 2012
Saturday, September 1-Monday, September 3 — Family EARTHcamp at Marsh Haven. Camp out and enjoy some family time for your Labor Day weekend.

Friday, September 21-Sunday, September 23 - Rendezvous at Marsh Haven - Friday is Educational Day for schools (free admission to schools and homeschool families), Saturday & Sunday open to the public.

Saturday, September 29 - Family Nature Club Meeting 1-3 p.m.

October 2012

Saturday, October 27—Monsters on the Marsh - Join us for our second annual family-fun event at Marsh Haven. Come in costume for trick or treating, craft projects, savenger hunt, visit the Critter Corner, snacks, games and so much more!
